Someone at a show recently expressed to me how they feel women dont feel as comfortable at shows as men do. No one in this scene is here to make anyone feel uncomfortable. Stop with all this white male privilege in hardcore shit. The bands involved in hardcore preach nothing but acceptance. Thats fact. And if you think that the attendance of girls is lower than men and that its because they feel inferior, i have to strongly disagree. I see arguments like this on the internet constantly. Its time to squash this shit. If you are a woman and do not feel welcome in hardcore I promise you, if you come to a vice show well welcome you with arms. This isnt a post to say YEA LOOK HOW MUCH I SUPPORT FEMINISM. This is a post to say we, in the hardcore community are not a bunch of ignorant Neanderthals.
