Someone introduced me today to a stranger: this is Kirby, hes a musician. The person sorta laughed, ah Im sorry, thats a hard road. Yeah, maybe it is. I responded by saying sometimes, but I have a richer life than so many people I know, and anything worthwhile is hard to come by. If theres anything you should know, its that I dont want or need the pity of the world on account of what I am. In spite of all the nonsense and the peripheral focuses of trying to make a career, Im here because I love what I do. In fact, doing this is the only thing I know how to do that brings order to my chaotic mind and the uncertainty of all life. My path is not a curse upon me, and if it is then cast your... spell my way, I promise to go under it. Music is a solution for me, its not a problem. Ill always rather be a fencepost in the kingdom of music than the king of somewhere else. PS I watched 20 Feet From Stardom on Netflix. Highly recommend. Reminded me why I love singing.
