Someone is posting signs in Downieville to “Boycott Western Sierra Medical Clinic!” The Downieville Clinic Patients’ Advocacy Committee (DC-PAC) does NOT support or approve of these signs. To the contrary, we all need to “Save our Clinic”. To Boycott the Clinic defeats that goal. Please support the Downieville Clinic to assure Western Sierra County residents and visitors that for years to come there will be local medical services available 24/7, including primary, urgent and emergency care as needed. The author(s) of these negative signs should attend the DC-PAC meetings and use the opportunity to present viable alternative solutions to the status quo. The next DC-PAC meeting will be Monday, September 29, 2014, at 4 PM at the Downieville Community Hall.
