Someone just told me that a lot of insightful things I post are also offensive. This is something I actually do on purpose. And those of you who know me know that Im actually a very nice guy. But let me explain why my posts are often edgy and borderline offensive. See I found that when I used to post intelligent things NO ONE would ever read them or engage in intelligent discussions on them. Literally NO ONE. Its like people were incapable of reading meaningful material on facebook on things that matter. However when I posted things of a humorous or edgy nature, people were all over it. So I realized that if I ever wanted to post things of an intellectual nature, I would have to A) dumb it down for the facebook audience so that it was less intelligent, and B) Make sure the edginess would exceed the intelligence level. Now that I post with those guidelines I finally get to engage in intellectual discussions with people. So if you are offended by my posts, Im sorry, but thats why. Id love to be able to just say things that were intellectual and have people actually read them, but unfortunately thats not how it works.
