Someone once told me a little theory that I like to think is true. They told me that our children choose us. Almost like they are out there watching, waiting- and they choose the very people they want to bring them into this world. I believe Sam chose you, his beautiful parents and sister- to do life with. I believe you were chosen because you were the perfect ones to raise him, to care for him, to teach him, to guide him and to love him. And you loved him so perfectly he didnt stay as long as most. He got all the love he needed in his short time with you. And its devastating and heartbreaking and so hard to fathom that he was taken from you so young- but I bet, no I know, he would choose you again and again and again. And I know although this path is so painful, you would choose him again too. You guys are strangers to me, and me you, but your story has touched my heart, like so many others. My heart breaks for you all right now as I hug my own children especially tight. Sending love and strength xxxx
