Someone said to me abt a parental decision we made for kiddos...boy, I bet your kids hate you for that? My response...no, but they sure might resent me later in life if I allow it now. Parenting is tough and your not always going to be popular or liked for the hard choices you make. Tough love IS necessary at times. (Aka -saying NO and not wavering). Why are so many parents simply trying to be their childrens friend first? Its hard, its exhausting but their future is so worth it! (No perfect parents, but we must persevere, protect and be purposeful! Our kids are counting on us!
