Someone thats PHA intelligent and knowledgeable in Prince Hall history, help me understand this: When a man dies in the United States the state in which he dies makes records of his demise. I therefore was compelled to check all the names of the 14 Gentlemen who started out with the Gentleman known as Prince Hall. In my research I found Cyrus Jonbus, Buestop Slinger, Benjamin Tiber, and Cuff Bufform to be men that never existed because these men neither have birth nor death records of any sort in the United Staes. Doese this makes them BOGUS NAMES? Peter Freeman- is no exact match but 28 P. Freeman have death records in the US. Prince Rees- is no exact match but 3 P.Rees have death records in the US. Cato Spears-no exact match but 19 C. Spears have death records in the US. Peter Best- no exact match but 5 P. Best have death records in the US. Forten Howard- no exact match but 58 F. Howard have death records in the US. Richard Tilly- no exact match but 8 R. Tilly have death records in the US. Boston Smith- 2 exact match found in Virginia. Prince Taylor- 4 exact match found in Virginia. Thomas Sanderson- 5 exact match found in Virginia. John Carter- 422 match found in Virginia. PRINCE HALL- 1 exact match found in Virgingia. I did not view the death certificates to check the dates which is the my next step. Now were always talking about legitimacy, help me UNDERSTAND the legitimacy of these 14 Historical names in the Prince Hall History. Please dont try and feed me some Buestop Slinger or should I say BS. YOU MAY NOW HAVE THE FLOOR GENTLEMEN.
