Someone tried to put me down by saying that I have manly legs & a Barbie waist. First off, that doesnt offend me. Not even the slightest. I smiled & giggled. In fact, that is a huge compliment to me. So thank you. Second of all, what if I wasnt strong enough to bounce that comment off my shoulders. Lucky for her, I was. But what if it was someone who was self conscious of their legs.. or anything else for that matter? Its remarks like that which lead girls spiraling into self image issues & eating disorders. Youre this.. youre that.. you need to be skinnier.. you need to eat a hamburger.. stop training so much.. youre training enough.. I am sick of seeing so many women trying to drag others down. There is far too much negativity in this industry.. & the last thing it needs is more women to tag in on it. Before youre about to make a cold swipe at another woman.. think twice. Because unless youre absolutely perfect (*cough cough youre not), you have no room to be talking. We are all working towards something, we all have different fitness goals.. & whether someone is trying to lose weight or gain muscle.. they need support. Stop with the negativity & make someone smile.
