Something happened late last night and the more I think on it the more upset I get. First I may be stirring a pot of shit but I just need to vent. Months ago I did a cover reveal for a book I was planning on releasing soon. Life happened and I didnt finish it as soon as I wanted. Yet the cover was out there and we did a cover reveal tour. Last night an tour organizer sent out the stuff for the tour for the book. With said cover. She was approached by a blogger or two, Im not sure how many, about it being the same cover as a book recently released by another author. I changed my cover last night but find it upsetting that even though mine was already revealed, nobody told the other author about it, like we were told. I ended up with a better cover in the end but still find it upsetting. I want to thank whichever blogger(s) it was that let the organizer know, they prevented me from having to change it later.
