Something just occurred to me how crazy humans, food, and cooking are. Take the dish eggs for example. This is a one ingredient recipe. Or two if you want to count the cooking medium (butter, oil or water). But you consume negligible amounts of the medium and its mostly the same across all recipes. You can have eggs fried hard (hard, medium, over easy, orsunny side up), scrambled (soft, medium or hard), poached, hard boiled, soft boiled, baked, and probably a few I havent thought of. But these are all separate dishes with basically the same single ingredient and in theory they should all taste about the same, excepting the distribution of yolk throughout each bite. But people have very strong opinions and preferences towards each. Man thats just nuts...
