You and I were the perfect two... The dynamic duo... I remember our first meeting... Me standing next to my mother, face shining from the blue seal and glycerine. . . And you, Thumb in mouth, party dress on with white heeled shoes which i bet you got off a wedding line up, pulling on your mothers skirt so that she could get you those corn puffs.... We were always together.,.. From sunday school to high school all the way through university.. I remember when we were younger and my friends dint want to play with me because i had a girl for a friend... I remember you texting me on that sticker covered nokia 3310 when you had your first date... Asking me what you should say to a guy who kept talking about tom and jerry and dexters laboratory.... I also remember the day we last spoke... We argued about the girl i loved.. You told me she wasnt the right one and i called you jealous and not wanting me to be happy.... How foolish of me because she broke my heart and made me a poet .... I couldnt bring myself to apologise.. And now here we are... With you about to place a tear stained rose on my casket..... Lord knows i love you even in death.... We will always be the perfect two and please.. Live on.
