Something old. Something new, sort of. This latest King Kong - TopicsExpress

Something old. Something new, sort of. This latest King Kong prequel is a fun read as long as you believe in the main character.I read Land Of Terror many years ago, about the time I first read The Lost World and The Land That Time Forgot trilogy. Within the biography of King Kong, this story takes place in the same reality so well crafted in Kong Of Skull Island. Not a comic book, this is a full fledged novel in the same heroic fictional flavor of all the Doc Savage novels. Happily, it even can stand alone if you have never read any Doc Savage at all. But, it is not written in a 21st century style, or mindset. Not Shakespeare, just fun. (Yes, I know that reading The Bard is not everyones cup of tea.) Carry on.
