Something really amazing happened to me today and forgive me because this will be long lol. I ran into The Dollar Place, that dollar store on Derry by Subway after my doc appointment to pick up a few things. I get to the front the clerk Sam rang me up. I started looking in my purse for my money (and talking to myself lol) I was like okay I could have sworn I put it back in there when I left the hospital the other day. I looked everywhere in my purse, no where in sight, I really hate when that happens its so embarrassing and store clerks always get an attitude. I apologized repeatedly to him, and started putting everything back in my purse to leave. He saw my inhaler was like what were you at the hospital for, asthma? I told him no it was for a problem with my leg. Thats when he did something really surprising. He says well I dont want to see you leave without the things you need so just give me your name and phone number and just pay me another time...I swear my jaw bout hit the damn floor. He took my name and number and wrote down the amount I owed, gave me a card I wrote his name and the amount on it so I know for next time. He then said God Bless You and I said the same. I left that store today not only full of gratitude but with my faith in humanity restored.
