Something strange has happened to the "Woman Who Sleeps In". Where I am currently, in Upstate New York, it gets light very early. I awoke at 4:30 am because the birds were singing and it was already that soft pre-dawn kind of light. I am ordinarily NOT an early riser but something about this early light makes me eager to get my day started. I remember these types of days from my childhood where, close to the Summer Solstice, it seemed like it was light until almost 10:00pm and then light again so early. This is the essence of Summer to me!
