Something to Think About: God is so much more than our cars, our homes, our clothes, our bling-bling, our education, money and our wealth! When the car breaks down, it’s of no use; when the home goes up in flames, it’s of no use; when the money is gone to buy clothes, it’s back to the thrift store; when the bling-bling has lost its shine, the “fake and fronting” meter starts to ring; when the economy is weak, the college degree seems to draw more debt than income; and when the money gets up and goes, the wealth seems to follow. Is that to say we, as God’s chosen, should not pursue to have a nice car, a nice home, nice clothes, modest accessories (bling), a college education, money or wealth? Absolutely not. I know I desire to have some of the finer things in life, but none of it….absolutely none of it means more to me than my relationship with God, because when all the above has come and gone, God will still be here supplying my ever need. He truly is so much more than anything this world has to offer! Thank You Jesus! {“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” -Mark 8:36, KJV}
