Sometimes being just friends is not enough because youve just gotten to the point where youve fallen too deep for someone that you cannot settle to be anything but lovers with that person. Its either you can have this person entirely, or you dont want any part of them because it wont be good enough, it wont be fair because you have to act like you feel nothing towards them but on the inside you just wanna reach out & pull them in & hold them & kiss them. To be friends with that person you would have to hold all of those feelings back & keep your thoughts to yourself & honestly, youre not gonna be able to keep up with that forever. Jealously is gonna kick in when you see that person with someone else & youre not even supposed to be getting jealous because youre just friends but its hard not to when you care about someone intimately.
