Sometimes focusing on eating a greater percentage of higher protein foods or foods richest in micro nutrients can allow for spontaneous caloric reduction to a degree that helps you with your (fat loss) goals. Other times, it can be an unnecessary stress that prevents you from getting enough calories and leaves you feeling like crap. Or just doesnt do anything profound for you depending on your starting point. Sometimes you got to shore up deficits in your food quality, other times you dont and doing so is just a futile pursuit of dietary purity with no real benefit.
