Sometimes, i just miss the old dumaguete. Simple lang kau but di nako ibaylo sa ubang lugar. Wala lang, nkahinumdom lang ako aning mga lugara: 1) Orient Garden (OG) - where we would go kung naay achievement sa school 2) Badings Halohalo - it was a landmark. What happened? If you ordered from the 2nd floor, they had to bring the food up using this pulley 3) Cherrys and Bel nors - papang used to buy this german bread nga tam.is with a hint of onion sa cherrys ug peanut bread in the afternoon from bel nor 4)the then-new lee super plaza - the grocery was the first to open even while construction of the ground floor up was going on. The first items i bought with my friends were 3 apples and an orange. And we had to walk from taclobo and back just for those. 5) Ever (and Park) cinema - where i talked Hyacinth into spending her birthday gift for movie tickets para namong 3 ni Jericho. And the movie was free willy. Haha. Just the same, we had to walk back home.:) 6)Silliman beach - it is still there alright, but back in those days, there were no sea grass and sadya kau mga tawo mangaligo. And my favorite was this bread nga gbaligya sa tindahan didto nga naay white frostings 7) the runway - my favorite. We used to jog there then dive pud sa tumoy 8) the old La Cavitena- where rickys is now. Mamang brought me there so i would stop crying over my dead cat..haha...the pizza worked for a few hours. 9) Lonoy sa banica- it was somewhere in batinguel. The water was deep so it was good for swimming. Wed also bring home some tadpoles 10) martisan - technically not in dumaguete but it was synonymous to dumaguete summers.
