Sometimes in a world that is saturated with reality (although whos reality is anything like that) tv, material and physical things being what define us and the competitive nature that has reached is way even to the purest of things such as motherhood, we can be distracted from the REAL life we are all living. I used to spend my time wishing for the next best thing to happen, watching hours of tv and movies, getting lost in fictional worlds ( which I still do love to do by the way) to avoid my reality because I felt it wasnt good enough by everyone elses standard. My best life (with all of its ups and downs - I am not perfect nor are any of the people in my life) was always waiting for me. Love, Gratitude and Some Self Belief was all I needed to take the first step. Being Healthy in Mind and Body are essential. Set a small goal and aim for that. Just because you arent ready to compete in a Fitness Comp or run a marathon yet doesnt mean you arent worth the effort! All great goals take time and effort. If running down the beach makes you happy, do that. If soccer with your kids makes you happy, do that. If deadlifts, Hack Squats and hitting a PB at the gym makes you feel happy - do that. Find your happy!
