Sometimes in the pursuit of promoting a view, we forget how to take a joke. Whether its race, gender, religion, or animal rights we can all get so caught up in vying for our campaign that every time we see something even remotely offensive we end up spoiling everyone elses fun just to get our point across. This is not to say that when somethings truly offensive we shouldnt speak up, but even when we truly believe in our mission we must gauge when something comes from hate, and when its just good humor. I know Im guilty of being overly sensitive, but hopefully from all Ive learned in this day I shall be able to grow into a better, more good humored person.
