Sometimes it is so amusing to be me. Yesterday my daughter asked me if we could go grocery shopping; I told her we could go today for 2 reasons. 1) it was payday, and 2) I wasnt feeling good. Well, I wasnt feeling good at work either. I had a tummy ache all day. Nothing I did made it any better. I managed to stick it out though. I left work at the end of my shift and tried to think of reasons we shouldnt go get food. I came up blank. Feeling lazy, I tried to call her several times from outside the house hoping she would just come out. Unfortunately, she didnt answer and I had to go in and grab her. This was, however, the perfect time to change. I was in jeans and was super hot. I had spent most of my day outside reading while waiting for chip runs. I quickly put on the capris I wore yesterday and off to the co-op we went. Through the produce, down every single stupid isle, my tummy hurting the entire time. I complained like a small child and told Gabrielle she was going to be the one picking out groceries because nothing interested me. After that we went to the chinese take-out place by grocery store, where I went in and ordered fried rice and dry spare ribs (after all, I had to feed her and I didnt want to cook). Then we went to safeway to get a certain tea they carry that co-op doesnt. We headed back to the take-out place and I cranked some new catchy tune on the radio. I was feeling pretty rad and my tummy was feeling better. We pulled up to the restaurant and Gabrielle looked at me and says, Whats that in your pant leg? I looked down and seen a pink string! Oh my goodness, yesterdays underwear was sticking out of my pant leg! Its my panties from yesterday. Gabrielle howled. I nonchalantly pulled my underwear out from my leg and stuffed them in my gym bag. I went inside and got our food and came back out. Who knows how long my underwear was sticking out of the bottom of my capris. At least they didnt fall out while in either grocery store.
