Sometimes its hard to face the fact that as parents our kids dont need us a s much as we wish they still did. But know that its not that easy to pull our protective arms from around them. And that we hope it will be with gentleness that they slowly pull away into their future. That they can only understand when their heart will feel the same amount of sadness, love and pride when it is their turn to be the parent and think back to that day. For they are the greatest love of our lives....Know that our hearts are especially fragile as we watch them shine into the beautiful future that will be their destiny
