Sometimes nothing seems quite right in this world. Not only do the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, but the powerful become more powerful and the weak become weaker. Evil appears to triumph and good seemingly appears to be defeated. The weak of this world without political or social influence will never receive preferential treatment as do the powerful figures of our times. Why not then seek after money and power by any means? Despite the fact that Jesus did nothing but good throughout his entire life, he died on the cross in weakness and poverty and emerge victorious over devil and all forces of evil. God looks at things differently and we must embrace his values. Better to be poor rather than rich and have God on our side. Better to be weak rather than powerful and have God on our side. Better to be like Jesus than anything else. May God help us to strive to be like Jesus and emerge victorious over all forces of evil, and merit the crown of eternal life.
