Sometimes we feel its hard gaining victories for the peoples movement, winning and championing the interest of our people. What I have found more difficult though is the recording and restoration of these victories, the communicating of these gains. This has been our historical problem particularly in student movements...We are impoverished of the gains of the past and this advantages the enemy to reverse these gains. Comrades we must write, we must write poems about our gains, novels and essays. We must write our own history!
