Sometimes we have to make choices we dont like but in the end we know are the right ones. I made the decision to drop after 70 miles when a huge storm with freezing rain came in during the early morning. I was soaked, hypothermic by the time I reached the Logan Steep Aid Station, and 6.5 miles from my crew which was the only was I was going to get what I needed to be safe on the course. The first 70 miles were awesome, I had an amazing day running a mind blowingly stunning course and hope to go back and finish what I started in the future. For the record, my crew were super badass! Thank you Jenn , Rafael, Angela and my pacer extraordinaire Larry !
