Parks, author of “Dr. Parks and His Book.” Boston: Press of Geo. H. Ellis Co., 1915. “In the class of 1843 at Harvard College was a man who became a Doctor and was in the Civil War. He had two dogs, named, respectively, God Almighty and Jesus Christ. The writer knows his son, a Boston doctor, but has never ventured to ask if he knew about his father’s dogs.
