Song Meanings: The Ladies Dont Know This song was written by Chad (CC) on May 30th 2004. While it was his Birthday he had plans with his Father for that day and his Pregnant Daughters Mom in which Neither of them showed. His Father had been plagued with no shows throughout his Life so that wasnt the let down that inspired the song. You couldve called to show you cared is a line in the song referring to the fact that even though he had planned this day with them & it was his Birthday Neither even Called to cancel. Depressed and Heartbroken by the Fact that his Daughters Mom didnt even call finally gave him the push to write this tune. Thru the years it was altered and until recently (Cc&theJun!ors) it never contained a Guitar Solo either. The Base Meaning of the song is the Heartache that a Man goes through over a Woman and 9 times out of 10 the Ladies Having No idea that theyve inflicted this pain upon the Mans Heart. It can easily be flipped if changed to a Female singer. I explain the Title to this song bc Ive heard comments after saying the title. It has Nothing to do with Women being Stupid or anything negative. Its mainly a Heartache type song with a Big Badass Solo in the middle. People always Love hearing this one and it is an important song to me and has a lot of history.
