Soon You Return* (coda) You shall soon return, to offer me - TopicsExpress

Soon You Return* (coda) You shall soon return, to offer me consolation For the torment of misfortune, you made my own (1) Why has our love been forgotten? My heart drowns in sorrows and fears By happiness long forsaken My eyes never free from bitter tears (2) Much like the bird migratory No more can continue to fly Getting exhausted with worry To find nest and get rest high in the sky. (3) If but you had known The poignant taste of misery Since you ruthlessly, Abandoned me my dearest one You shall soon return, to offer me consolation For the torment of misfortune, you made my own [Instrumental (1), (2) & Repeat (3)] ==|== *This is a metric driven rendition of “Bablik Ka Rin,” keeping as much fidelity to the substance of the original vernacular as I could muster. It’s so charming, so rare, and oh so romantic, it made me break my promise to stop at an even dozen. The original lyrics were gleaned from the below Sylvia La Torre melody clip.
