Sooo was doing some work on my tank today. Guess Ill explain my science project.... 8 gallon fluval Flora tank 2x Fluval Compact 13w bulbs Air filter CO2 setup: Regulator, paintball tank, solenoid, bubble counter, ph controller, diffuser. Its hot here in Florida so I built a chiller unit using an old water cooler, a small pump, a temperature controller and re purposed a heat sink from a computer processor. Basically it pumps water from the tank into a radiator immersed in ice cold water in the water cooler when the controller senses the temp getting too hot in the tank. I struggled with heat exchangers but this works the best. Temp 76-77 Ph 6.7 - 6.9 Now if I can successfully raise a colony of cherry shrimp Ill be thrilled.
