Sorry, I gotta 1-up you, Pagel... =) This is one of the first hits I remember where everybody assumed the artists were black. This song was HUGE in the VERY EARLY hip-hop community that I was fortunate enough to grow up in in NYC. I thank my lucky stars for my extremely long memory, because I got to witness the birth of hip-hop music and I actually remember a few things about the times...
