Sorry I have been so quiet. Things have taken an unexpected turn this week with the new EU VAT regs. I have been looking into the easiest and cheapest way to provide patterns to other EU countries without getting registered for VAT. I have discovered that burning the patterns on to a cd is not classed as digital and can be posted as a small letter. This means any amount of patterns can be bought and posted for one price. I am still looking into alternative ways of digital delivery but, until then, this seems the easiest solution.
