Sorry, Pearls met a few stumbling blocks and has been down awhile. When you use God’s word to reach others, invariably you are going to find the need to go back and take your own advice. When Satan sees anything good, he wants to destroy it. It is up to you whether you allow him to take control or whether you stand your ground. Satan knows all your weak spots and he uses every trick to throw obstacles in your path. He wants you to fall. He wants you down for the count. My Father knows those same weaknesses. But you see, He has forgiven me. Those weaknesses are no longer important to Him except to use to as guideposts for others. Before you count yourself out or allow Satan to pull you down, remember who holds all the power. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 - But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. Spurgeon once said, “The preaching of Christ is the whip that flogs the devil. It is the thunderbolt that makes all hell shake.” So Christians, if you have a testimony that will glorify our Lord, that will give hope to others or especially a testimony that can direct someone toward the light; speak up. Every Christian has a story; you walk it daily. Open your mouth, raise your whip and together let’s make all hell shake. Feel free to use Pearls as your platform to honor Christ and to spread His goodness. Someone out there desperately needs to know they are not alone. Someone out there desperately needs to know their sins are not too great for the Father’s forgiveness. Psalm 103:8-12 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. He will not always chide, nor will he keep his anger forever. He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. Father, continue to give me the knowledge that You are using everything in my life for good and not bad. Let the results testify to Your glory. Let me stand strong and may my words and my actions reflect your will. July 24, 2013 Judy Caldwell Remember brothers and sisters…praise Him in your storm.
