Sorry for the delay in posting this: I would like to take a moment and recap 2014 Salmon-A-Rama from the Fire Flies point of view. At Salmon-A-Rama 2013 I launched my run to create Fire Flies, it was this event that helped me make my decision to actually start the business. When it came to having an opportunity to be a sponsor at the 2014 Salmon-A-Rama it was my honor. I would like to Congratulate Andrew Sharpe on his Win and Fire Flies has presented him a $250 gift certificate for Flies. Congratulations to the 20 winners of the Fire Flies Plano boxes. Since I did not have time to write up a note for these I wanted to list out what is included : - Glass Alewife Fly - Kermit’s Revenge UV Fly - Lucky Shamrock UV Fly - Salmon Hooker UV Fly - The fly labeled “Salmon-A-Rama 2014” is right now only available to the 20 winners and my pro staff. This is actually a 2015 fly called The Rock Star – This fly helped the Angry Pirate win the operation double team and take 2nd in the 2014 Morris Tournament - A bag of 100 of the exclusive Fire Flies green UV beads. Fire Flies was part the Charter Trip give away with Salmon-A-Rama, Salmon Unlimited, Storm Trooper Charters, and the Outdoors with Jerry and Nick radio show. The charter give away was a HUGE success, and we could not have done this without working together to make this successful. - Capt. Jim Mueller was a gracious host who put the winners on fish and made them feel at home. He is a consummate sportsman and I cannot tell you how many people have complimented Capt. Jim about this trip. - Craig Bender was a key in getting Capt. Jim involved and he also welcomed the trip back and rolled out the red carpet for the contestants. - The Salmon-A-Rama board listened to the idea that I presented and put this plan into action. Without the SAR board we could not have even started this awesome give away. - Outdoors with Jerry and Nick. You guys brought us into your show and have made me a part of your team and it has been fun and I can’t wait to do more with you guys. - Our Volunteers, I cannot THANK YOU ALL ENOUGH for all the hard work and the passion you gave not only this night but all the nights during and also working up to the event. You work is not unnoticed and again THANK YOU! We are going to be supporting the club and the event that helped launch us as long as they let us, we believe that this is the right thing to do. Take care of those who have taken care of you. We are not a company that is going to be gone in a year or 2, we are in this for the long run. What will we be doing next year for SAR? Well we already have many ideas but the bottom line is….. we will be a sponsor and we will be changing the game up again! Finally, Thank you to all of you… our customers, our followers, you drive us to do better, to create even more Flies and other soon to come to products!!!!! You ALL have put a HUGE smile on all of our faces here. When we walked into the grounds everyday and saw all of the Fire Flies merchandise being worn and all the people that we talked to about our products I was in awe.
