Matagorda County Cavalry has been contacted and asked to organize and assist Serve Outdoors - Matagorda Bay Chapter with an escort for a group of Wounded American Heroes again this year. Many of you have been with us on these escorts and know what a truly humbling and rewarding experience it is. This escort will start at LeTulle Park, just south of Bay City off Hwy 35 and end at the MVFD Fire Hall in Matagorda, Texas. This will be a great opportunity for the Matagorda County Cavalry and other Patriots to show our support for these American Heroes. Please wear your Matagorda County Cavalry logo proudly. NOTE: Once we arrive at the fire hall, and after the fried fish dinner, there will be a fund raiser benefiting Serve Outdoors to continue organizing hunting and fishing events for our Wounded Heroes. There will be a silent auction and live auction. Serve Outdoors will also auction some items to help Matagorda County Cavalry, so please stay and support the fund raiser if you can. Directions: Heading south on Hwy 35 (7th St in Bay City), continue on through town heading south. Once you cross the Colorado River bridge, watch for the RV park on the right. The main entrance to LeTulle Park is across from the RV park. Turn left into Letulle park. Staging is near the main entrance by the flag pole.
