Sorry to hear about the passing of Paul Revere. The Raiders were a bluesy garage band in their early incarnation before being transformed by their record label into British invasion clones. Even at their most produced some element of that garage sound remained. I loved their dance steps when they were lip synching their tunes on cheesy Dick Clark afternoon productions, The Smothers Brothers and elsewhere. Their appearance as The Penguins rock and roll band on Batman also made quite an impression on me. Paul was a conscientious objector during Vietnam years who did his time in hospitals caring for soldiers wounded in that war. In the last years of his life he did many charity concerts and events for our current veterans. Rest in Peace Wild Keyboard Man.
