Sorry to keep asking your advice, oh wise people of Facebook, but - TopicsExpress

Sorry to keep asking your advice, oh wise people of Facebook, but I have a bit of a dilemma! Somebody drove in to the back of my car yesterday. There was a witness and the guy also admitted fault ( I have their details) There wasnt much damage, so I wasnt going to bother making a claim. When the car hit me, my back hurt immediately. I didnt think much of it, as I have back problems anyway (already in my doctors notes), so I thought that the hit had just temporarily exacerbated the usual pain. However, playing trumpet today was painful. Should I see a Doctor before informing the insurance company or am I supposed to report the accident straight away regardless? Id rather not claim if my back is going to get better, as the guy was nice and his premium will shoot up..... In fact, regardless of fault, Im pretty sure that both of our premiums will go up in the future. I know that insurance companies pay out for loss of earning, due to injury, but I dont intend to miss gigs and let people down, if possible. Does anyone know much about whether they pay out for treatment? Thoughts? Thanks in advance :)
