Sought Out Dairy Sought Out Dairy FATE OR FAITH Text: “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven .” Matt 16:19 I want to ask you to make a decision today to live your life by fate or by faith. The difference between the two is as heaven is higher than the earth. Fate is an attitude that says “whatever will be, will be”. It’s an attitude that gives up the control of life to circumstances. Sometimes we even make it look so religious; if God wants me to be healed I will be healed, if God wants me to get married I will be married. That sounds religious but it’s not a perfect revelation of scripture. It’s established already in scripture that the will of God is that we prosper and be in health. Having this kind of mind-set is leaving our lives to chances. Fate is leaving our lives to chances. It’s a display of a shallow understanding of the ways of God. Can you imagine Moses saying to the Israelites “If God wants us to leave Egypt he will go and talk to Pharaoh for us”? They would have all died in Egypt. After God had called Moses it was up to him to face Pharaoh and use the rod he was given. God has given us his word and his promises; it’s no longer up to God, but up to what we do with what he has given us. Living by faith is a life of active partnership with God. Agreeing with God to see the required changes we desire in life. God has handed over to us the keys of the kingdom. What we permit on earth is what heaven permits, what we refuse on earth are what heaven refuses. Abraham did not just fold his arms waiting for his child to come. He was strong in faith, he was busy declaring God’s word and giving glory to God. Get active with God you have a right to stop the devil in his tracks; his time is over around your life. I see your baby coming forth; I enforce the release of your miracle Prayer: With God in me my life is under control, my miracles are released today and good things are lined up for me.
