Sounds like an indefinite mission objective. STRIKE ISIS TARGETS. There must be no collateral damage, i.e. civilian casualties or we will be blamed. We may be blamed anyhow. Perhaps this would temporarily degrade the al-Qaeda linked ISIS forces. But with their network of support, they would rearm, regroup and resume attacks. So why do it? Perhaps IRAQ would have time to assemble a coalition government to stabilize the nation. PERHAPS. That comes with a big IF. IF they would do so, it might be worthwhile, it might be effective. IF they do not, it is just more American treasury up in smoke, and heaven forbid, more American blood spilled, lives lost in the fray. The larger question is what targets are our homegrown jihadists lining up in our homeland? What are we doing to secure our border against the inflow of jihadists? They can come up the same alleys that the migrant children are using. WE MUST SECURE OUR BORDERS!
