South Australia Police has released their monthly state and Local Service Area crime statistics. State-wide the statistics over the last 12 months to the end of July show that reported offences against the person have fallen two per cent and the total reported offences against property have fallen eight per cent, which has resulted in an overall drop in reported crime of six per cent. The SAPOL statistics have been compiled in compliance with nationally accepted and approved counting rules.
