South Utah had many beautiful parks within the same area, we didnt - TopicsExpress

South Utah had many beautiful parks within the same area, we didnt get to all of them but the three we did visit were simply amazing. The common factor in all three parks were the rock formations, but they all had their own different landscapes and beauty. At Zion National Park you were down in the canyon looking or hiking up at the multicolored rock. The best part of this park was the scenic drive out the east entrance. At Bryce National Park you are above the canyon and the rocks are more like vertical columns called Hoodoos. The color was a more dramatic bright orange. Once again the scenic drive east of the park was just amazing. At Arches National Park you are above and below these massive rocks and arches. Some had a brown/rust color while others were orange, all made us feel very small. Its hard to believe that the weather over many many years created the shapes of these beauties. Put these areas on you Bucket List if you have one! After spending the night in Salt Lake City, Utah on Friday we are now in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for the next few days to visit Yellowstone National Park...Im sure I wont have any photos to share :)
