Sowing the seeds of the love of Jesus by CTcamp Mat 13:3 And he told them many things in parables, saying: "A sower went out to sow. Notice that the sower went OUT to sow. He went out into the field to work on a harvest. How often do we go out to sow the seed that Jesus instructed us to sow, we all carry the message of the Good News inside of us, but so often we get caught up in differences of opinion and strife derives from it. Often we force our opinions unto others, to the point of hurting their walk with Jesus. These seeds that Jesus refers to are seeds of goodness, the seeds of the Gospel. We often get caught in sowing seeds of a negative attitude and of our own opinions, not that of the Word of God. The seeds are good, but because we sow them in our own capacity and not in the Holy Spirit, these seeds often go into the ground, never to sprout. This is not what we were called for, we were called to strengthen, build up and correct where we are needed to do so. Let us take note of the following Scripture: Mat 24:45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Mat 24:46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. We need to be led by the Holy Spirit when sowing seeds of the Gospel, not by our own opinions and man made doctrines. We are known by our spiritual fruits, let us not open ourselves up to be ashamed by the evil one. Be blessed in Jesus Name.
