Speaker of the House John Boehner today threatened that if President Obama used an Executive Order to enact Immigration Reform unilaterally, on his own (redundant much?) that he would poison the well and that the Republican-controlled Congress would never pass such a bill, an act also known as cutting off ones nose to spite ones face. Of course, an EO would do nothing to prevent Congress from crafting their own bill, and Obama only brought up an EO to get something done after six years of stonewalling by Republicans. Can we get some grown-ups in Washington, please?
