Speaking of the one man show. There is always danger in a one man show even one that develops and facilitates the five fold. I must say however that one man shows are a pretty normal approach when leaders engage the body from an institutional or from an organizational dimension only. I think much of the one man show is due to the fact that leaders have not really seen or known how to engage things on a regional level. The future challenge comes as there are those within the one man bands who see the need to converge and discover that there is actually strength in diversity of many apostolic spheres working hand in hand and even sphere in sphere. How does the DNA of the varying spheres blend to find synergy and corporality. Israel was many tribes but one nation. Israel knew that gathering the tribes was essential and yet the tribes maintained their strength in diversity. Uniformity is not always the goal. Sometimes our differences make us better. I believe in some ways this is true for the body of Christ but we must also become a corporate son in the earth. Israel new the times and the seasons of God for gathering corporately. The Body of Christ has largely lost its understanding of the tines and the seasons of God. We must rediscover some of these truths. Ephesians 4:13-16 (KJV) 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. I have no problem with a leader being the lead apostle in a structure as long as that leader sees the critical importance of converging with quite a few more apostolic spheres which they must come into symphony with regionally. Its coming! Regional models are coming.
