Speaking out... Normally I use Facebook to see whats new with friends and I occasionally post a picture too. Simple things. I dont care if Eric was overweight. I dont care if Eric was selling illegal cigarettes. Thats not the point. I do care that every human life is precious and everyone deserves to be treated with fairness. I do care that I cant view this as just a news story. And I appreciate so many police officers that are truly great public servants. Erics life was taken from him. Call it like it is: It was a homicide. Dont tell us: If he can say I cant breathe, then he can breathe...! That ridiculous. I may not be an activist? I am just a regular person that is standing up for Eric. He did not deserve this. My prayer is that something good can come from this tragedy. Let it begin with me. Speaking out....
