Special thanks to Game Changers Corp (please LIKE their page) for their assistance with my VERY FIRST book signing. Last Sunday 12/7, I sold & signed OVER 100 books. PLEASE let me know if you would like a copy of the book as well as be invited to the next book signing in February 2015. Mrs. Ani Gogova blessed us by playing a few classical selections from her new CD. Marc Brooks mother-in-law and Edward Cruzats mother, Ms. Millie Cruzat performed a dance routine for the attendees. The book is about my mother, titled I Never Saw Her Cry - The Doris Adams Story. Doris Adams, African American and Caucasian descent (pictured with fur coat & hat), a direct descendant of President John Quincy Adams, migrated with the her brothers & sisters from Mississippi to Chicago; she was the eldest. Although some may not view this as a big deal she was the first minority in history to manage a Kroger Food store in the United States. The book is dedicated to everyone who faces struggles and adversities. Through FAITH, HARD WORK, & GIVING BACK TO COMMUNITY you will achieve your dreams. The one thing my grandmother stressed was the importance of world travel. After my mother retired from two full time jobs (Kroger Manager & CPS Custodian) she made it a point to travel to a new country every year; Brazil, Greece, Rome, Trinidad, and etc
