Speciality With Inklings of Saltiness and Simplicity --> SWISS; yup, sometimes its good to get back to the basics and make this great dish called Rösti; all you need is lightly boiled potatoes, salt, butter, grated cheese (optional) and a few strips of bacon. The art is to get the consistency of the potatoes spot on, peel and raffle them, add a few pinches of salt, heat the butter and fry slowly, then - now comes the little acrobatic stunt - flip the Rösti over to brown the other side. Meanwhile, fry the bacon, heat up a flat dish in the oven and serve it up. A sprinkling of Gruyère cheese to melt on top can be added to give it an extra something - bon appétit!
