Spending time with the children touched my heart. Although they were full of smiles and laughter I couldnt help but notice they were craving hugs and affection. I cant imagine having to grow up without the love and care of my parents. Even today at 47 years old the love I get from my parents means so much to me. I gave out some of my best hugs but knew it really wasnt enough. I began to wonder if what I am doing for them even made a difference but as I sat and watched them I noticed many of them wearing the very shoes we bought for them. I then realized that even though what we were doing in my eyes was so small, it was actually touching their souls. God bless all of you who make my missions possible!
