Spent a wonderful evening at Copperwood Artware Gallery in Orange. They were showing the works of their women artists, one of which is Tina...who I lovingly refer to as my sister. She is an extraordinarily talented artist working with several different mediums. During the course of the evening Tina and I met a very fascinating artist named, Mila Gokhman. Phillip Ritchie, a professional photographer, is working on documenting all of Milas work and publish a book. Having immigrated from the Ukraine merely 14 years ago, Mila is in her later years and in failing health. She told me one of her wishes is to have her work on display at Bowers.
