Spoiler alert: Here is something I though had the makings for some dry British humor, understated of course. Watch as the London Bobby deal with an obnoxious protestor. The video is from a cam from RT Today (Russian TV) outside of Ecuadoran embassy in London where Julian Assange is hiding out these days. It is two hours of boredom except about 8 minutes into the video. Outside of the embassy the British police have a 24 hour, 365 day guard on the doors of the embassy so the can arrest him and extradite him to Sweden to answer questions about a rape and well the US would like to talk to him about all those secrets he published also. In the video youll see some well organized protestors show up with banners, well rehearsed lines and a bull horn. Notice how the policeman reacts, with almost impeccable politeness. When the bullhorn is put within inches of the cops face look at how he responds. We The protestors bull horn then breaks, just falls apart and the London Bobby bends over to pick up the part that fell down, almost as if to hand it back to him. I watched this and thought this could be a sketch with John Cleese and the Monte Python gang. The good part only last a few minutes then it is back to watching the front door for Julian who never does come out and enjoys the sun. Sorry about being so wordy.
