Sports News: As praises are heaped upon Guyanas own Mister Universe, master Hugh Ross yet again for raising the bar for bodybuilding competitions in Guyana arguably Master Kerwin Clarke shone the brightest in the judges and his supporters eyes over the lineup of some of Guyanas best at the National culture Center on Saturday evening. It was no easy fete for the very defined and chiseled Master Clarke who could have been whipped by his Gym mate Godfrey Stoby in his weight category. The two managed to have fans on their feet during their individual as well as the comparison routines shouting to the top of their lungs. But the most celebrated of the nights wins was when when it came to the overall face-off as prior his win he had his work cut out for him against all the winners of the various categories. From observations, putting it mildly the winner of the Bantamweight category, two times CAC champion Devon Davis was barely pipped by Clarke. To showcase the winning physique Master Clarke opted for to move away from the regular shorts this time around he displayed his superb biceps and amazing ‘six packs’ (abdominal) among other physical attributes sporting velvet underwear instead. Among the nights entertainment were a bevy of Guyanese beauties who also competed in two categories, one of which was won by Nadina Taharally while Jeff Classic Beckham offered some most entertaining displays as a guest poser to the event.
